Transport for London

Report it to stop it.

A new campaign designed to put an end to unwanted sexual behaviour throughout London’s public transport network. Underlining how every report of an offence can make a difference. The initiative from Transport for London (TfL), the British Transport Police, Metropolitan Police Service and the City of London Police follows on from 2015’s ‘Report it to stop it' film. I was the typographer and designer on this project, working with Associate creative directors: Rob Ellis, and Peter Reid.

Copier typography

With the typography, I wanted a mix between ‘personal’ and ‘official’. So I chose a semi condensed san serif font, which feels formal and added texture to make it more human. With a modern copier, it took a lot of copies to give this text the rough, slightly skewed texture shown below.
